This is very nice and great to see our industry using newer technology. If you are going to the Ft. Lauderdale, St.Petersburg, Miami or West Palm Beach boat shows over the coming months then you must download this app. It has maps, company listings, yacht listings, event schedules and more.
Also you Android fans won’t be left out as the the app works on that operating system as well. I’ve downloaded it and played with it a bit, so far so good.

If you haven’t got the Steve Jobs biography then I would highly recommend it. For those of us in the yachting industry one of the most interesting parts came when the author describes what the yacht that Jobs was designing looked like “…the planned yacht was sleek and minimalist. The teak decks were perfectly flat and unblemished by an accoutrements. As at an Apple store, the cabin windows were large panes, almost floor to ceiling, and the main living area was designed to have walls of glass that were forty feet long and ten feet high. He had gotten the chief engineer of the Apple stores to design a special glass that was able to provide structural support.” Like everything Apple and Jobs design Im sure it would have been revolutionary.
